Work with me

I work with tissue imaging groups in two ways. Read both and pick the one that fits your project. If you are not sure, describe the project and I will tell you which track makes sense. Overall I am interested in collaborating with domain experts with hands on/hands off experience in exploring complex data structures.

Consulting

For teams that need a specific analysis done well and done soon. I scope the work, deliver publication ready results and code, and you keep full ownership. No authorship expected.

Good fit when:

  • You have imaging or spatial data and a defined analysis question.
  • You need spatial statistics that go beyond standard pipelines.
  • You want reproducible code and figures you can drop into a paper or report.

How it works: short scoping call, fixed price for a defined scope, agreed timeline.

Research collaboration

For projects with real methods novelty and a paper at the end. Here I contribute methods development and analysis as a co-author rather than for a fee, and we share data and credit.

Good fit when:

  • Your question needs a method that does not exist yet, or a real extension of one of mine.
  • You are aiming for a strong journal and want a methods co-author on the team.
  • You can share the data and are set up for a genuine collaboration.

How it works: we talk through the question, agree on scope and authorship up front, and work it as a joint project.

What I do not take on

To keep quality high I take a small number of projects at a time. Routine analysis that a general bioinformatics core can handle is usually better placed there. I focus on the spatial and Bayesian modeling that is hard to get elsewhere.
